My name is Kate Shaw. I started making tails after attending Anthrocon in July 2022. The artistry and skill on display in fursuits and fursuit pieces just astounded me, and I was inspired to make my own. In September I took my first commission and decided to start Tigerbat Tails.

 

I learned the basics of sewing as a kid and got into cosplay making in the early 2010s. Making fursuit pieces interests me in the way that sewing ordinary clothing doesn't. I am always experimenting with new styles and techniques.

I am the same Kate Shaw who produces and hosts Strange Animals Podcast. I'm also currently vice president of the Furry Writers' Guild and publish furry and fantasy fiction as K.C. Shaw. I sometimes sell premade pieces at the Dealer's Den.

I try to attend Furry Weekend Atlanta and Dragon Con most years, when my work schedule and finances allow. Come say hi!
